In Europe, Christmas began, the Lord's - in Christian tradition - a holiday commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a permanent liturgical celebration on December 25. Christmas is preceded by a period of three weeks of waiting (exactly four Sundays), called Advent. In the Catholic Church this is a mandatory holiday.
In Churches that still celebrate the liturgy according to the Julian calendar (so-called Eastern Churches, mainly the Greek Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church), Christmas falls on December 25 of the Julian calendar, i.e. currently on January 7 of the Gregorian calendar.
Because of Christmas time, you can ask Mr. Admin for a symbolic Christmas tree in the main city ?
On this occasion, I wish everyone a healthy and cheerful Christmas.
Christmas Time! :)
